| The Cave of Darkness (2 sub-boards)
This is where the evil creatures of Hydae dwell. They call themselves The Darkness and they are bad news. The cave is a large tunnel that leads in to a large cavern where many of The Darkness members live and spend their time.

| Hydae Castle (7 sub-boards)
This is where the current ruler of Hydae lives and works. This is a massive stone structure with my weaving passages and a maze of corridors. There are many grand halls and rooms where people are lost in, so be careful when you come here.

| Hydae Main Market (3 sub-boards)
This is a long, winding street filled with simple shops and market stalls every few days. This place has everything, apart from the Black Market and anything illegal. The street isn't as clean as it could be, and it's usually very crowded. Watch what you buy, and make sure you know what you're getting for your money because some of the people might want to steal some of your hard earned cash.

| The Main Street (1 sub-board)
This is a long row of shabby built huts where the lower class creatures live and work. There are few shops here, and most of the buildings are poorly built houses. The streets are dirty and are dangerous since you never know what creatures are out hunting in the middle of the night.

| Cherry Tree Street
This is where the richest, and most powerful creatures of Hydae live, apart from the ruler. The street was named after the small cherry tree, which grows and blossoms all year around. The street is clean, tidy and is well kept.

| Oak Street
This is where the middle class creatures of Hydae live. The street is lined with well built houses, but they're not as fancy as Cherry Tree street's houses and the street could do with a little work, but it's a peaceful place to live, and much better than The Main Street.

| Oulf Fountain
This is the nicest, and cleanest place in the whole city. It's large, stone flagged square with a large fountain in the middle. The statue in the fountain is of Oulf, the first ruler of Hydae and it's said, in the dead of night, that the spirit pf Oulf has been seen walking the square. But believe what you will.

| The Royal Stables
This is where, only the finest horses for riding and carriges are bred. As you know, this place doesn't have cars or anything like that, so people must either walk or ride. This place is clean, comfortable and classy, but only if you have the money. If you don't go to the market and buy a cheaper horse, but you never know what you're getting for your money. This place only breeds from the best studs and these horses are also used by the ruler.

| The Untamed Land
The name explains perfectly what this place is...it's wild and untamed. This is a place where wild animals such as mountain lions, wild horses and deer roam freely. It's also a very dangerous place, since most of the area hasn't been seen by any creatures. This is a place to catch Unicorns and other mythical creatures like that.

| Hydae Forest (1 sub-board)
This is the large forest which surrounds Hydae in a thick green belt. Wild animals roam here, and they're the least of your problems. The forest in most dangerous at night since there are robbers, and maybe the odd werewolf or shapeshifter, so keep your eyes open.

| Hydae Lake (1 sub-board)
This is a large, somewhat clean, body of water, not far from the city of Hydae. Water creatures and wild weeds and plants roam here, untamed and very dangerous. Be careful of the swamps around the edge of the lake, since you might tread on ground that's not safe.

| Hydae Beach and Cliffs
This is both a beautiful place and a very dangerous one too. The chalky white cliffs tower above the large beach, which you must be careful if you don't want to get caught while rocks plummet from above, or get caught in the raging tide. If you're lucky, who can stay to see sunset or even sun rise either on the beach or on top of the massive cliffs. This is a place of not only magic but beauty.

| The Middle Lands |
| No Mans Land
This is a large, barren land where nothing grows apart from small plants and very few animals can survive here. There is no night or day, no time and it's not a pleasant place to be. This is between Hydae and the human world. The dirt is coarse and hard and the sun beams down mercilessly.

| Heartland Forest (1 sub-board)
This place may sound safe and pleasant, but that is far from the point. Heartland is known for being dangerous in many ways. There are creatures who linger in the flickering shadows of trees, creatures who are beautiful and deadly, seductive and foul and wouldn't think twice about ripping your throat out. The forest floor is veiled by a thick mist or fog which never lifts and the trees loom over you, casting eerie shadows around you where creatures hide. Not a nice place to end up at.

| Summer Grasslands
This is the one place is the whole of the Middle Lands that you wouldn't mind going to. This is a place of endless lush grasslands where beautiful and gentle wild animals graze and frolic in the warmth of the sun. This is a great place to go if you need to think, or just to get away from it all and to relax and feel the soft breeze against your skin.

| The Portal
This is where you need to be if you want to enter the human world, or just return to Hydae. At a first glance, the Portal looks like a clear glass window, until you gaze in to it and you'll see the hussle and bussle of the human world, or the gentle calmness of Hydae, which ever way you're looking at it. The portal is surrounded by a peaceful meadow where you can think and relax.

| Hydae Street
This street was named after the legends of the magical world of Hydae, and the fact the portal is some where along this very street. It's filled mainly with flats/apartments and small houses, built close together. It's a bad neighbourhood, and you should be careful about treading here.

| Kernel Lane
This is where all the big shots with loads of money and sporty cars live. This is a gated community, with security guards 24/7, immaculate streets and massive houses and apartments. The whole street is cleaned daily, but word goes around that not just humans take advantage of the high steel gates at the entrance.

| St. John's General Hospital (3 sub-boards)
This is the main hospital in town and has over six floors which are capable of holding over 1000 people at one time. This is a fairly new building with modern floors and a clean, calm atmosphere, this is the place to go when you're hurt, pregnant...or dying.

| Club Jenn
Club Jenn is the hottest night club in town and anyone who's a someone hangs out here, either to show off their latest moves, meet new people or just to get drunk and have fun. This place has the hottest tracks but no one under the age of 18 is allowed in here.

| The Hungry Horse
The Hungry Horse is the perfect place to go out as a family and grab some good food, or maybe go out with your mates to go get drunk and play a game of darts or pool. Either way, all are welcome, but children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and you must be 18 to order alcohol.

| Portland Shopping Centre (7 sub-boards)
This is heaven for all those shopaholic girls who just want to spend, spend and spend. This place has all the well known shops like D & C, Harvey Nicks and many more. This place also offers a wide range of coffee shops and cafes, such as Starbucks for everyone's needs. The parking lot is massive and is able to hold over 1000 cars at once.

| Portland Cinema
This sits next to Portland Shopping Centre, and is the biggest cinema for miles. It has all the latest movies and even the movies that haven't come out yet. This also plays some old classics once in a while and is a great place for dating, or just to go out with your friends and have some fun!

| Portland All Combined School
This is the perfect place for children from the age of 3 to 18 to go to school. It is one of the only Combined schools in the area and is well known for it's high teaching standards.

| University of Portland
This is one of the top universirties in the country and there's always a long waiting list to go here. The locals aren't so trilled about all the new students, but they have no say in anything.

| Central Park
This is a big open space, which isn't actually in the center of town. It used to be, but the town center moved, and Central Park has been expanded so there's even a forest and a few fields. The grass at the entrance is freshly cut and it's kept looking nice, but as you go further and further in to the park, it becomes more and more untamed and wild.

| Portland Lake
This is the next best thing to a beach in Portland. The lake is a perfect place to go for a swim, and sometimes, on the large platform, by the shore, there's BBQs and parties. The water is peaceful, especially at night, but people wouldn't recommend you go out at night.

| Portland Library
This is one of the largest and oldest libraries in the country, which books from past and present, even some that haven't been released in book stores yet. This is the perfect place to sit down, relax and get in to a really good book.
